Friendly Soap is a company that really caught our eye when we went looking for high quality, great value alternatives to the conventional plastic-packaged detergents we’ve been lathering ourselves with for years.
These guys do it properly and we’re proud to stock their products. These items aren’t just vegan, or cruelty-free, or made by people paid a living wage, free of plastic, preservatives, sulphates or triclosan. They’re all of these things.
Using a cold-process method handed down through generations of makers, creating these luxurious products creates no by-products and uses plenty of old-fashioned elbow grease with every single bar poured, cut and packed by hand at the Friendly Soap HQ up in sunny Yorkshire.
This level of obsessiveness even applies to the packaging; it’s made from materials that are 100% recycled as well as recyclable. You won’t find plastics here; they even use poppy seeds and hemp bran instead of microbeads.
The entire range passes the Natural Nation test of not only being environmentally sound, but also out-performing the products you’ll find in your local supermarket or high street chemist. Each bar is an exercise in natural luxury, they’re packed with cleansing goodness, they smell divine and they make a rich creamy lather you won’t believe until you’ve tried for yourself.
